Day trips, shore tours and multi-day itineraries in Split, Krka, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Zadar, Rovinj and Kotor
AboutValerius Diocletianus was one of the most successful Roman emperors, who ruled the Roman Empire 1700 years ago. In the year 305 AD an enormous palace complex was built to become Diocletian’s retirement home. Three centuries later the refugees from the destroyed town Salona settled the abandoned palace and that is how the city of Split was born.
Nowadays, the city of Split is the capital of the Croatian coastal province of Dalmatia (yes, that is where those cute dogs originate from!) and there is no better place to feel the unique Mediterranean vibe than at Split and the Croatian coast with its 1200 islands! Declared a UNESCO heritage site, Split, with its Diocletian’s palace, is one of the most historical and the most impressive places in Europe. You will have a great opportunity to explore the beautiful architecture and learn about the fascinating history of the area with our guides.
We are a group of enthusiastic and professional, fully certified tour guides and driver-guides that love to share our passion for Split and Croatia with our visitors. We all are locals, who are very fluent in English (and also in Italian, German, Spanish or French).
In our over 10 years of experience in tourism we have shown Croatian sights to hundreds of private guests, including many celebrities and VIP clients. We have been working with the main tour operators from Croatia, Europe, USA and Australia, such as A&K, Exeter, Rick Steves, Travcoa, Croydon Travel and many others. Our private tours have been designed to show you the culture of Split and Croatia from the local point of view, paying a special attention to our art, history and architecture, but also to our customs, traditions and cuisine. On all the tours we offer you total flexibility – during the tour, you are the one who determines the pacing of the tour!
